Mariana Chávez Sánchez
Originally from Mexico, Mariana joined Women Win in 2018 as Communications Specialist. Her role includes creating communications materials and designing tools, as well as programmatic support for our Latin American partners.
She holds a BA in Visual Communication and a MA in Gender Studies from the University of Utrecht. As a graphic designer her work has included working along one of Mexico’s largest regional children’s hospital to support children sick of cancer through physiotherapy guides. In 2016 she co-founded Cactus Power, a company employing women from rural communities.
With these experiences Mariana understands the power of movement for resilience-building and the importance of women’s economic independence.
