Catalina Robu
Catalina first joined Women Win as a volunteer back in 2017. After two years of managing a diverse range of projects, starting from operational ones to Programmes Team specific projects, she became our Programmes Finance Specialist, supporting the development and management of all programme budgets, including designing budgets at proposal stage and supporting grant managers to spend their budgets appropriately and effectively.
Originally from Romania, she holds two Bachelors from the University of Bucharest, one in Sociology and the other one in Finance and Banks. She moved to the Netherlands in 2012 and then made the switch to the non-profit world after 10 years of experience in a big corporation in Romania.
Catalina is very involved in the Romanian community in the Netherlands by coordinating the Romanian weekend school for children in Amsterdam and several other social projects.
Catalina loves sports, particularly tennis, for which she declares herself as a fanatic. She is a passionate hiker and a movies lover. When she is not involved in all of the above, you can find her writing poetry or articles on her blog.
