Maria Fernanda (Mafe) Salazar Rodriguez
Mafe is originally from Colombia and currently based in Lisbon after spending years in Spain and the US. She joined the Women Win’s Ignita team in 2024 as a manager, where she provides programmatic support to feminist organisations and women’s funds globally.
She is a lifelong intersectional feminist activist and social justice champion and is committed to shifting traditional power systems. Mafe has experience working with feminist funds, diverse philanthropic actors, local, regional and international organizations, especially those focused on and led by women, girls, youth, and gender-expansive people. Most recently, she was part of the team at the Equality Fund where she held the portfolio through which fellow feminist funds were supported.
Mafe is an avid reader and a long time tennis player. She enjoys spending time outdoors and in the sun with her dog whether at the beach or the mountain.
