After graduating high school in 2007, Doreen earned a position with Moving the Goalposts through her previous involvement as a standout football player and peer leader. Passionate about advancing the education and economic development of girls in her community, Doreen works with out-of-school girls aged 15- to 25-years-old to help them start and expand micro-businesses initiatives.

With this story, Doreen reflects not only on her own hard work, but also on the influence of a powerful female figure, a coach that encouraged and pushed her to achieve her full potential. Now, Doreen feels it is her turn to be a role model for other girls.
