Once an orphan struggling to survive and selling palm tree products to pay school fees, Lydia eventually learned how to play, to kick and eventually to speak up for girls’ empowerment. Lydia is now an inspiring leader who has brought change in many girls' lives in her organization, Moving the Goalposts, thanks to her strength of character, persistence and ambition. Lydia's vision is to be an activist, fighting for gender equity in sports.
