After graduating high school in 2007, Doreen earned a position with Moving the Goalposts through her previous involvement as a standout football player and peer leader. Passionate about advancing the education and economic development of girls in her community, Doreen works with out-of-school girls aged 15- to 25-years-old to help them start and expand micro-businesses initiatives.

With this video Doreen artistically highlights the contrast between a life in darkness before engaging with sports, and the colourful, full of potential life  that opens up in front of her now, because of sports. Doreen's story is also crucial in showing how, through sports programmes, girls can also benefit in relation to their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
