Shea Morrissey brings a perpetual curiosity for innovation in technology, communication and web advocacy for grassroots activism. She holds a degree in Politics from Whitman College where she played NCAA basketball, and has spent her working life in the realms of social justice and sport for development. Shea worked as Web Editor for the Women’s Sports Foundation in New York, writing and creating multimedia content to share stories of girls and women empowered through sport. Most recently, Shea has been working with Equality California in the U.S. to advance efforts toward equal rights, health and human services for LGBT people. As a whole-hearted advocate for play, Shea assists with soccer camps for local immigrant, refugee and asylee youth through Soccer Without Borders.
