A Legal Director at the international law firm, DLA Piper UK LLP, Julia is a senior member of the London restructuring team and advises clients on complex cross-border reorganisations. In 2010, Julia was seconded to a global investment bank where she worked on the restructuring of a number of multifaceted, high-value securitised structures.
Julia has always played an active role in pro bono work and during her career has contributed to numerous and varied pro bono/CSR projects including providing legal advice and support to MIND, the Prince's Trust, the Southern Africa Litigation Centre, the World Bank Doing Business Project, the Young Citizen's Passport and Addis Ababa University Law School. She has travelled extensively and has visited more than 40 countries. In her spare time, Julia plays 5-a-side football and is a keen swimmer and walker. Julia joined Women Win as a trustee on the UK regional board in 2011.
