Eline Harderwijk studied law at the University of Leiden where she received a Master's in Corporate Law, Bachelor's in Dutch Law and a Minor in Business. She also studied property law, business organisations and corporations at the University of Florida. She worked as an attorney at law at the international law firm DLA Piper Nederland N.V.
Eline was part of the restructuring department of DLA Piper. She advised clients on matters of insolvency law and property law, and worked as assistant bankruptcy trustee in bankruptcies.
In 2008 Eline joined DLA Piper's Finance & Projects group. In this role, she gained experience with the drafting and review of loan and security documents. As a secondee at the Recovery Department of ING in the beginning of 2010, she advised on the enforcement of security rights and the bank's position in bankruptcies.
